Can I combine multiple HEIC photos into one PDF?

Not yet — each HEIC file converts to a separate PDF. Multi-page PDF combining is on our roadmap. For now, you'll get one PDF per HEIC file, which you can merge using any free PDF merge tool or your operating system's built-in PDF tools.

What page size does the PDF use?

The PDF page automatically matches your image dimensions exactly. Portrait or landscape orientation is detected automatically. For very large images (over 4000px on any side), the image is scaled down proportionally to fit within a standard document size while maintaining quality.

Will the PDF contain the actual image?

Yes! The image is fully embedded inside the PDF — no external links, no dependencies. You can view, print, or share the PDF on any device and the image will display natively. Perfect for submitting documents to portals, printing photos, or archiving images.

What is HEIC format?

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's default photo format since iOS 11. It uses HEVC compression to reduce file sizes by 40-50% compared to JPG while maintaining the same quality. This converter also works with .heif files. Need other formats? Try our HEIC to JPG or HEIC to PNG converters.

How many HEIC files can I convert at once?

You can convert up to 10 HEIC files simultaneously — each becomes its own PDF. All processing happens in your browser with no uploads.

What's the file size limit?

Each HEIC file can be up to 50 MB. This covers virtually all iPhone photos — even ProRAW images are well within this limit.

Is this converter really private?

Yes! All conversion happens locally in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. The HEIC is decoded client-side, and the PDF is generated entirely in your browser.
